Gluten-free diets are not only for celiacs but can also be beneficial for other people. And they don’t have to be bland.

Gluten-free diets are a must for those with celiac or wheat intolerance to prevent serious intestinal inflammation. Avoiding gluten can also benefit those with polycystic kidney disease or gluten sensitivity. Non-celiacs also adopt the GF diet, claiming that it increases energy and helps with weight loss. (Though, note that further research is required to confirm these claims). It’s worth keeping a few gluten-free recipes in your back pocket for when you need to feed friends who cannot tolerate gluten.

What is gluten, and where can you find it? Gluten is a family of proteins that are found in grains such as wheat and barley. It is also present in spelled, rye, and spelled. Cakes, cookies, pastries, and pasta are all high in gluten, as well as cereals, bread, and cereals. Foods naturally free of gluten include dairy products, vegetables, nuts, meat, and fish.

Fresh Topped Pizza

Homemade pizza is a great dish to make, especially with children. If you have a gluten allergy, it doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy the process of creating creative toppings and rolling out bases. Just use GF flour. Ours is served with lots of rockets on top. Here is the recipe.

Baked Feta In Fig Leaves

Some recipes require a few tweaks in order to make them gluten-free. Some recipes are naturally gluten-free. We think this dish can be enjoyed throughout the summer and beyond. You can transport us to Greece by placing the lemon-drenched, oregano-topped, salty feta on fig leaves. Wrap it up, bake it until it’s melted, and serve it with extra lemon wedges and flatbreads. Simple Quiche With Sweet Potato Crust

What could be better than a quiche to share with friends for a casual lunch? This recipe is gluten-free and uses a sweet potato base instead of the traditional pastry. It’s packed full of goodness when you add in the eggs, Greek yogurt, and kale. Find out the recipe here.

Curry is an excellent staple for celiacs because very few recipes call for glutenous products that can be problematic for digestive systems. This recipe is full of flavor, is spicy, and is also healthy. Rice is naturally GF. Cheesecake with Passion Fruit and Citrus

Desserts do not have to be off-limits for anyone who is gluten intolerant and still has a sweet craving. They need a few tweaks. This dish is a standout, whether you are celiac. Raspberry and Rhubarb Drizzle Cake with Custard

Candice Brown is the genius behind this absolutely stunning cake. She won 2016’s Great British Bake Off. This cake is made with polenta, ground nuts, and a bundt pan. You’ll also need some baking equipment and skills. If you’re a budding GBBO contender, this cake is a must-try. This cake is definitely for special occasions and not just a quick afternoon tea. With its raspberries, rhubarb, and cream cheese frosting, this cake is truly a sweet delight if you are willing to spend the time.
