It is at this time of year that soups really come into their own. What’s not love about soup? It’s nutritious, it’s packed with vegetables, it’s easy to make, and it’s delicious. Even before you consider the joyous possibilities of mopping up with deliciously dense rye or crumbly Irish soda, you can enjoy a lovely crusty sourdough.

Never has soup been a more appealing option. This is the perfect time to prepare healthy meals that can be cooked in bulk and reheated for a quick meal over several days. What person wouldn’t enjoy some healthy comfort food?
