Rao’s Homemade Marinara There’s no debate; Rao’s is the best. If you prefer spice, their Arriabiata is also excellent.
Olive Oil Any high-quality olive oil can be used.
Crushed Red Pepper I love spicy foods, so I recommend a lot of crushed red pepper in this recipe.
Onion – You’ll need white onions, chopped.
Garlic – Make sure you chop it finely.
For spaghetti, I like to use whole-wheat pasta for extra fiber. You can use white spaghetti or gluten-free pasta as a GF alternative.
Spices: Black pepper and salt
Parmesan Cheddar: This dish is delicious, with or without cheese. The sauce is fantastic.
- Fresh Basil: A lot of new Basil adds flavor to the dish.

How To Make World’s Best Spaghetti RAO’s Homemade Marinara
This recipe is easy to follow with pictures.
STEP 1: PREP
1. Heat a pot of pasta water. Meanwhile, chop an onion and four cloves of garlic finely.
2. Add the uncooked spaghetti and salt to boiling water. Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions on the package.
STEP 2: COOK THE PASTA
1. Add extra virgin olive and red pepper flakes to a medium-sized pot and heat on medium.
2. Add garlic after the pepper flakes have sizzled for 10 seconds. Sauté for 20 seconds.
3. Add onions. Add a pinch of salt. Sauté for 3-4 minutes or until golden.
4. Rao’s Marinara Sauce – You must add 32 ounces for this recipe. This sauce is fantastic, so I hope you use it.
